Frederick Douglass Supports Women's Suffrage at Seneca Falls

Frederick Douglass was the only prominent man to speak in favor of women's suffrage at the Seneca Falls Convention, helping pass the Declaration of Sentiments' demand for the vote. In The North Star he argued that the right to choose rulers and make laws was the right by which all others could be protected.
