Judy Johnson Joins Hilldale Club, Begins Hall of Fame Career

Judy Johnson joined the Hilldale Athletic Club of Darby, Pennsylvania in 1921, beginning a Hall of Fame career as the finest third baseman in Negro Leagues history. He helped lead the Daisies to three consecutive Eastern Colored League pennants (1923–1925) and captained the 1925 championship team.
