Ralph Metcalfe Wins Two Sprint Medals at 1932 Olympics
Marquette University's Ralph Metcalfe won silver in the 100m and bronze in the 200m at Los Angeles, cementing his place as one of the world's premier sprinters. Metcalfe would later win a relay gold at Berlin 1936 alongside Jesse Owens and subsequently became a Chicago congressman.
