Paul Robeson Stars in King Solomon's Mines

Robeson starred in the British adventure film King Solomon's Mines, one of several major British film productions in which he appeared during the 1930s. Though he later expressed regret about some of these films' colonial imagery, his screen presence and international stardom helped shift global perceptions of Black masculinity.
