Miles Davis Birth of the Cool Released as Album

Miles Davis's Birth of the Cool sessions, recorded in 1949 and 1950 with an integrated nonet, were compiled and released as a full album by Capitol Records. The record launched the cool jazz movement and demonstrated how Black musicians could lead experimental, genre-defining collaborations.
