Stacey Abrams becomes Georgia House Minority Leader

Stacey Abrams was elected House Minority Leader in the Georgia General Assembly, becoming the first Black woman to lead a party caucus in the Georgia legislature. The position established her as the most powerful Black elected official in Georgia's history to that point.
