Spike Lee's BlacKkKlansman wins Grand Prix at Cannes

Spike Lee's film about a Black detective who infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival, Lee's highest honor from Cannes. The film earned six Academy Award nominations including Best Picture and won Best Adapted Screenplay, Lee's first competitive Oscar after receiving an honorary award.
