Kamala Harris Becomes First Black Woman Presidential Nominee of Major Party

Vice President Kamala Harris was officially nominated as the Democratic Party's presidential candidate after President Biden withdrew from the race, becoming the first Black woman and first person of South Asian descent to be nominated for President by a major American political party.
