N.K. Jemisin wins Hugo Award three consecutive years

Jemisin became the first author in Hugo Award history to win Best Novel three consecutive years, for each volume of her Broken Earth trilogy (2016, 2017, 2018). She is also the first Black author to win the Hugo for Best Novel, making her achievement a dual landmark in science fiction history.
