Eddie Robinson becomes winningest coach in college football history

Eddie Robinson of Grambling State University became the winningest coach in college football history when he recorded his 324th career victory, a record that stood until Bobby Bowden surpassed it in 2003. Over 57 seasons at Grambling, Robinson sent more than 200 players to the NFL and became a towering figure in HBCU athletics.
