Stephanie Wilson becomes second Black woman to reach space

NASA astronaut Stephanie Wilson flew to the International Space Station aboard Space Shuttle Discovery (STS-121), becoming one of the most experienced Black women astronauts in history with three spaceflights. She logged over 42 days in space and became a model for representation in the astronaut corps.
