Angela Davis Arrested on Murder and Kidnapping Charges

Communist Party member and UCLA professor Angela Davis was arrested in New York after guns registered in her name were used in a Marin County courthouse takeover on August 7, 1970, in which four people were killed. She was placed on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list and charged with murder, kidnapping, and conspiracy.
