Ramona Africa Convicted for Surviving MOVE Bombing

Ramona Africa, the only adult survivor of the May 13, 1985 Philadelphia police bombing of the MOVE compound, is convicted of riot and conspiracy charges and sentenced to seven years in prison. No city official, police officer, or city administrator faces criminal charges for the bombing that killed 11 people and destroyed 61 homes.
