Civil Rights Groups Document School-to-Prison Pipeline Targeting Black Students

The Advancement Project's 2005 report found Black students suspended and expelled at 2-3 times the rate of white students for comparable behavior. School resource officers arrested Black students disproportionately for code violations, feeding them into the juvenile justice system.
